Policies
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions' Suppliers shall:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations and appropriate social practices governing our local and global business
- Promote procurement activities in a way that reduces the environmental impacts while selecting suppliers (including prospective suppliers) and procurement items.
- Provide suppliers with equal opportunities for transactions with "Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions"
- Promote procurement activities based on mutual understanding and trust.
Selecting Suppliers
While selecting suppliers and carrying out transactions continuously, priority shall be given to companies satisfying the following criteria:
- The company complies with laws, regulations and places emphasis on human rights and environmental consciousness.
- The company has sound business operations.
- The company has the ability to supply goods and/or services to Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions with emphasis on appropriate quality, price, and deliver lead-time.
- The company is capable of providing a stable supply of goods and/or services. Also the company must have the flexibility to respond quickly to supply/demand fluctuations.
- The company possesses technology that contributes positively to Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions products.
- The company has a plan for providing a continuing supply of goods and/or services in times of unexpected circumstances that may affect the company and its supply chain.

Selecting Programs
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions conducts business globally, involving a wide range of point of sale products, services, and solutions. In order to succeed globally, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions takes customers’ requests concerning procurement of goods and/or services, into consideration. Therefore we expect the following performance from our suppliers. We also ask that our suppliers request the same understanding of their own suppliers and promote Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions’ procurement policies and terms.
Steps to become our supplier:
- Be in accordance with all of our policies for selecting suppliers and supplier expectations.
- Introduce your product or service to us by submitting a brochure, product catalog, price list, and any other related, available material.
- In the event that the product/service your propose meets our specifications and price range, we will evaluate and qualify the proposal according to the following procedure
- Once your proposal has qualified, you will be registered as a qualified vendor.
- When proposing your product, we request you present the features and sales points of the product. Sales points will be taken into consideration of price, quality, lead time, management, and stable supply.
